Chicken & Tripe Raw Dog Food

Our Chicken is UK, Human Grade and Red Tractor Approved. It’s tasty, it’s meaty, and it’s from our regular source meaning we do not swap and change our product to keep it consistent for you and your dog.

Our Beef Tripe is super-stinky and just how we like it. We collect this ourselves from a top quality UK site, fresh, and on the day of slaughter, meaning the quality is like no other.

What else is in this tub of goodness? We’ve also got UK Ox Heart, UK Pig Liver and UK Ox Kidney. Why do we add Ox Heart to our flavours? Because it’s an organ meat that is so nutrient-rich it would be silly not to! Jam packed full of Vitamins, Omegas, and more, Ox Heart is great for a healthy heart, healthy eyes, and an even healthier immune system.

Like all our Betsy’s flavours, we hand-prepare each and every single drop into our compostable tubs and offer in both 500g and 1kg sizes.

Raw Dog Food Feeding Guide

Adult dogs should be fed 2% – 3% of their ideal body weight and puppies 4% – 10% (more info on our blog).
For any queries please contact us directly. Defrost in the fridge and serve. Once defrosted, refrigerate and use within two days. Wash hands after handling any of our products and clean spills with soap and warm water. Do not defrost our product in the microwave or with warm water. Although we use human grade food, this is not for human consumption.

*Bone percent may vary between 5 – 15%.

Before it goes in the bowl

How much of this do I feed?

Adult dogs usually eat 2 to 3% of their body weight a day, puppies 5 to 8% across three or four meals. A 20kg dog at 2% is 400g a day, so a 1kg tub is two and a half days. The calculator works it out for your dog and builds a plan for three to six weeks.

Is this a complete meal on its own?

Our recipes are complementary, not complete: no single tub is meant to be the whole diet forever. Rotate a few recipes over the weeks and the diet balances itself, which is how raw feeding is meant to work. New to it? Start with Lamb Tripe, then an offal-free recipe, then an 80:10:10 one. How do I store it and defrost it?

Straight into the freezer when it arrives. Defrost a day’s worth in the fridge, serve, and use anything defrosted within two days. Wash hands and bowls after feeding. Don’t defrost it in the microwave or with warm water, and it’s not for people.

When will it arrive, and will it still be frozen?

Order before noon, Monday to Thursday, and it’s with you the next day in insulated packaging with ice packs. Orders placed after Thursday noon go out on Monday. We can’t send less than 6kg because smaller parcels won’t stay frozen, and delivery is free over 50kg. Or collect from Langtoft, Monday to Friday, 10am to 2pm. All the delivery details.
